CRIMUSO-SA combines structured incident workflows with space assets such as GNSS (Galileo) and Earth Observation (Copernicus) to enable real-time situational awareness.
Critical incidents in space operations are increasing in frequency and complexity. At the same time, operators face growing pressure to improve situational awareness and response capabilities.
CRIMUSO-SA addresses this challenge by combining structured incident workflows with real-time data from space assets such as GNSS (e.g. Galileo) and Earth Observation (e.g. Copernicus).
The solution enables teams to manage incidents in a coordinated, real-time environment — integrating field data, satellite imagery, and live information exchange to enable faster and better-informed decision-making.
At its foundation, the approach builds on OnSite, a proven incident management platform developed by Control Center Apps (CCA). It enables structured capture, coordination, and documentation of incidents in real time, forming a reliable operational backbone.
On top of this, CRIMUSO introduces a compliance layer, addressing the evolving regulatory landscape, including requirements emerging from the EU Space Act. As an ESA Spark–funded project supported by Brimatech (ESA Technology Broker Austria), CRIMUSO focuses on enabling structured, traceable, and compliance-ready incident management workflows for space operators.
CRIMUSO-SA extends this foundation by integrating space assets such as GNSS (e.g. Galileo) and Earth Observation (e.g. Copernicus), enhancing situational awareness and supporting faster, better-informed decisions in operational scenarios.
Together, this layered approach connects data capture, compliance, and space-enabled operations into a single, coherent system.

Enables precise localisation of incidents, real-time tracking of field units, and geo-tagging of evidence captured in the field.
Adds environmental context to support faster and better-informed decisions, particularly in complex or dynamic scenarios.
